The Workers Wine League returns to Blackheath for an evening of hosted wine tasting with our resident expert Victoria Austin.

On Thursday 28th April, Vi will be taking us through 7 amazing wines from the North West of Spain, a region that boasts some of the greatest wines to be found in Spain from Alabariño to Rioja.
Starting with a stylish Cava from Perelada (okay, this one is outside of NW Spain!), the tasting will show two incredible whites and four reds, ending with a fanfare of two bold and beautiful Riojas. You’ll discover lesser known Spanish grapes that are gaining recognition outside of Spain for being elegant and fantastic.

To punctuate the journey we’ll be bringing out 7 freshly made hot and cold tapas dishes, finishing with some Galician Txuleton steak to complement the richness of the final wine.

Tickets are strictly limited and priced at £39 person, which includes a glass of each of the 7 wines and 7 tapas dishes which will be brought to the tables to share.

Due to the nature of the event, participants will be sharing tables to listen to the talks and allow interaction.

The event will begin at 6:45pm and end at 8:45pm, but the bar will remain open until 10pm for guests.
